In 2005, Camp Pembroke’s Alumni Community donated money to build a low ropes course in recognition of their love for camp and its 70th anniversary. Each week, all campers are scheduled for a period at the ropes course.
The ropes course provides hands-on experiences while creating challenging problems that require our campers to take safe risks, solve problems in a group, and share in the rewards from a successful effort. In accomplishing tasks, participants learn the meaning of cooperation, communication and trust, and team-building.
