Camper Medicine Information - Rapps Pharmacy

Time Sensitive - Intended for everyone except Dor L'Dor participants

Dear Camp Pembroke Parents,

Once again, Camp Pembroke will be using Rapps Pharmacy to pre-package all camper prescription and over-the-counter daily pill medications. Rapps Pharmacy, which we have used in the past with great success, ensures that your child's medications are dispensed in the exact amount, at the correct time of day, and that all medications arrive at camp prior to your child's arrival.

The ONLY medications that do not need to be pre-packaged by Rapps are the following:

  • Inhalers and epi-pens
  • Over-the-Counter medications purchased in "blister-packs"
  • Growth hormones
  • Lactaid
  • Liquid and powder medications
  • Ointments and creams
  • "Last minute" medications such as antibiotics
Please note that any medication that is not pre-packaged by Rapps, and is not included on the above list, will be subject to a surcharge. All of the above medications must be brought to camp in their original, sealed packaging, must be accompanied by a doctor's order and must be included on the Camper Medication Form which is available on our website.

The cost to parents for the Rapps Pharmacy service, excluding cost of prescription(s), will be $7.50 for one session and $15.00 for the full season.

RAPPS ONLINE REGISTRATION

To register your child for medication, please visit the website at http://www.rappsprogramrx.com and then click on "Camps" on the top of the page, and then "Camper Registration" on the left hand side of the page. You can access the registration page directly by clicking on this link: https://www.rappsprogramrx.com/camps/camper-registration.php.

You will be prompted for a camp registration code.
The code for CAMP PEMBROKE is: CP34

All credit card payment information submitted via this website is encrypted for your protection. You do not need to fill in any personal health information on this registration page, but you will be asked to fill out a health/medication questionnaire and HIPPA form once you have successfully completed and paid for your online registration. You can access this health/medication form on the website located at https://www.rappsprogramrx.com/camps/genericform.pdf.
This form should then be filled out and mailed back to Rapps along with your actual medical prescriptions.

Once you have completed the Rapps registration process, you MUST send an send an email to Camp Pembroke Director, Ellen Felcher, to let us know that you have ordered a prescription from Rapps Pharmacy.

Please be aware that this registration process is time-sensitive and that surcharges will apply if the registration deadlines are missed. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Rapps Pharmacy directly for assistance.
