Ellen Felcher, Director
Ellen returns this summer for her third season as full-time Director and her 8th summer overall at Camp Pembroke. Ellen joined Camp Pembroke in 1999 as Program Director and served as Co-Director for two summers before being named full-time Director in 2004. Ellen brings former camper and counselor experience to Camp Pembroke including working for a Girl Scout Camp and for Camp Sunningdale, an all girls' overnight camp. Her specialties have included arts and crafts, nature activities and sailing. Ellen is a former teacher, having taught first-grade Hebrew for ten years and Judaic pre-kindergarten for five years. Ellen is active as a volunteer for the Framingham Public Schools, the Girl Scouts, and the local swim club. Ellen earned her MS in Health from Columbia University and her BA in Elementary and Special Education from Boston University. Ellen lives with her two children in Framingham, MA.
